If you have slow water flow before adding a Culligan under-sink filter, and don't need lead reduction, I'd recommend the D-30, which lasts 2-3 times longer, and has great flow.For the price of the D-40 you can almost buy 2 D-30's so you basically get about 4-6 times as much clean water for the price.But if you've tested your water and it contains lead, I'd recommend this filter, because it is still great.It's just not as great for someone on a lower budget, who doesn't like to wait extra time for fresh water, like me.
